As a Creative at Zeus Jones, I worked with Purina Animal Nutrition (a division of Land O’Lakes) to launch a platform called Purina MQ.

One element of the platform was an innovative kit that allows horse owners to take a sample of their animal’s microbiome (a.k.a., swab their horse’s butt) right in their stable or field and send it to Purina’s labs for analysis. Owners then receive a report with their horse’s unique Microbiome Quotient, or MQ, that they can share with their veterinarian, along with personalized nutrition recommendations from Purina equine experts.

I love writing website and packaging copy, so this was a fun one. It was also surprisingly heartwarming: Purina’s subject matter experts are so genuinely invested in animal health and in the relationship between horse and owner. That sense of care and emotional depth informed the way our team approached everything from copy to packaging to photography.
